Vietnamese community in Tanzania celebrates Tiger New Year
On the evening February 12th 2010, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam hosted a Tiger New Year reception with the attendance of Vietnamese people who are settling and doing business in Tanzania. With the deep homesickness, Vietnamese people gathered in full numbers with Embassy’s officials at the party.
In the warm and cordial atmosphere, H.E.Mr. Nguyen Duy Thien, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the S.R. of Vietnam to the United Republic of Tanzania briefed the situation of Vietnam in 2009, analyzing significance of achievements which Vietnam has made all efforts to gain in the context that like other countries in the world, Vietnam has affected by global economic and financial crisis. On behalf of the Embassy, Ambassador Thien extended wishes to all participants for a Happy New Year, encouraging them to continue uniting, helping each other overcome difficulties and obey the law of indigenous country and direct towards their home country./.
